Abstract:   We describe our experiences in tailoring several cutting-edge and off-the-shelf technologies in delivering of peta-scale supercomputing services to Australian researchers.
NCI, as Australia's national research computing services, provides world-class, high-end services to Australia's researchers, including a peak 1.2 Petaflops HPC system (Raijin), a 3200 core high performance cloud, persistent disk storage of 10 PetaBytes and a new purpose-built data centre.
What truly distinguishes NCI, however, is the depth of its engagement with research communities and organisations. To exploit the machine, we tailor cutting-edge HPC technologies, crossing full software stack to satisfy the needs of Australian researchers. Some innovative techniques/projects are introduced in this poster, including Root-on-Lustre, Flexible and scalable profiling, Comparison-based testing
and Customised user behaviour monitoring and analysis.
