Abstract:   The development of highly scalable parallel applications for HPC systems
requires careful performance tuning. The automatic performance analysis tool
Periscope was recently extended with an automatic tool for the execution of
performance engineering workflows (Pathway) and automatic tuning plugins.
All components together build the Periscope Tuning Framework (PTF). This
presentation will introduce PTF's architecture and the already existing
tuning plugins. The tuning plugins for compiler-based tuning, MPI tuning,
energy tuning, and OpenACC tuning were developed in the European AutoTune
