Dr. Karl-Heinz Hierholz

Senior Business Consultant – PLM & CAE, T-Systems International

Dr. Karl-Heinz Hierholz is responsible for PLM business development and innovations at T-Systems. After studying aeronautical engineering at the University of Stuttgart, business administration and macroeconomics at the University of Hagen, he worked as a Ph.D.-student at the Institute for Aerodynamics of Stuttgart University. He joined Daimler at 1999, starting in the field of full vehicle NVH simulation, and later leading the project for optimizing the company's CAE processes. From 2005-2009 he set up and managed the European NVH department of the US/French MSC/ArcelorMittal joint venture. From 2009 to 2011 he was Manager of the ThyssenKrupp-Presta Acoustic competence center, responsible for the NVH design and production quality of the company’s products. In 2012 he joined T-Systems, moving the focus from product development and industrialization to PLM method support and consulting.
