Kenneth Ruud is a professor in theoretical and computational chemistry at the University of Tromsø – The Arctic University of Norway, where he is also prorector of research and development. His research interests include the study of molecular properties in complex media using multiscale methods on parallel computers. He is the chair of the Scientific Steering Committee in PRACE, the Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe.
