Dr. Saber Feki

Computational Scientist, KAUST Supercomputing Laboratory, King Abdullah University of Science & Technology

Saber Feki is a computational scientist at the KAUST Supercomputing Laboratory since August 2012. His research interests are in automatic performance tuning of parallel applications using machine learning techniques, parallel programming models such as CAF and OpenACC, and applying those to port and auto-tune computational sciences and engineering applications including seismic imaging, computational fluid dynamics and computational electromagnetics. He received his Master and PhD in computer science at the University of Houston in 2008 and 2010. In 2011, he joined the oil and gas company TOTAL as an HPC Research Scientist. Saber has published several papers in international conferences and journals and participated in organizing and giving tutorials, training workshops and courses in MPI parallelization and parallel I/O, performance tools, and programming accelerators using OpenACC.
