Erwin Laure is the Director of PDC – Center for High Performance Computing and Professor of Computer Science at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm, Sweden. Before joining KTH in 2008 he was the Technical Director of the EU funded project "Enabling Grids for E-Science in Europe (EGEE)" working at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN). He is the coordinator of the EC funded ScalaLife and EPiGRAM projects and heavily involved in European HPC activities through the PRACE RI and the CRESTA project. His research interests include programming environments, compilers and runtime systems for parallel computing.
