Research Scientist, Computer Science & Mathematics Division, Oak Ridge National Laboratory
 

Dr. Qing Liu is a research scientist in the Computer Science and Mathematics Division at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory and a lead developer of ADIOS project, which won R&D 100 award in 2013.  Prior to joining ORNL he was a computational scientist in the National Institute for Computational Sciences where Kraken is hosted and has spent a few years in industry working at large telecom corporations including Motorola and Bell Labs. Currently he is involved in a wide range of research activities in the areas of scientific data management and high performance storage systems.
