Dr. Andreas Knüpfer

Deputy Director/CTO, Center for Information Services & High Performance Computing (ZIH), Technische Universität Dresden

Andreas is a computer scientist and mathematician and works as Deputy Director/CTO at the the Center for Information Services and High Performance Computing (ZIH) at TU Dresden. He earned his diploma in mathematics in 2002 and his doctroate in computer science in 2008, both from TU Dresden. Since many years, Andreas is involved in parallel performance monitoring and analysis, namely with Vampir, VampirTrace, Score-P, and the Open Trace Format (OTF and OTF2). He is the author of more than 50 conference or journal articles and he was and is involved in many collaboration projects about parallel programming methods for HPC and about parallel performance analysis.
