Dr. Hiroyuki Takizawa

Associate Professor, Tohoku University

Hiroyuki Takizawa is currently an associate professor in Graduate School of Information Sciences, Tohoku University. His research interests include HPC system architectures, applications, programming environments, and automatic performance tuning. Since 2011, he is leading a research project named, “An Evolutionary Approach to Construction of a Software Development Environment for Massively-Parallel Computing Systems,” supported by JST CREST “Post-Peta” Research Area. The purpose of the research project is to explore a new methodology to effectively support migration of existing HPC applications to post-Peta scale computing systems, which will be massively-parallel and heterogeneous.
